Custom Wig Processing & Turnaround

Each JazzBeautyBar custom wig is individually constructed and customized according to the specifications selected for the order.

Standard processing time is approximately 14 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Orders may be completed prior to the full 14-business-day timeframe.

When available, Rush Service is $100 and provides an estimated production timeframe of approximately 7 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Rush Service applies to production only and does not guarantee delivery by a specific date. Shipping transit time is separate from production time.

During holidays, high-volume periods, or circumstances affecting product availability or production, processing times may occasionally vary. JazzBeautyBar will communicate significant delays directly with the customer.

Consultations

Consultations are available for customers considering a custom wig and are strongly recommended for customers who are unsure which wig type, size, style, color, or construction option is appropriate.

Consultations may be completed according to the options currently available through our booking system.

A consultation allows us to discuss wig type, measurements, desired style, color, maintenance expectations, lifestyle, and other considerations before an order is placed.

Custom Wig Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Because each custom wig is individually constructed and customized according to the customer's specifications, measurements, style, and preferences, all custom wig sales are final.

JazzBeautyBar does not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges on custom wig orders.

However, if you believe there is an issue related to the workmanship or customization of your custom wig, please contact us within 48 hours of pickup or confirmed delivery.

Please email service@jazzbeautybar.com and include a description of your concern along with photographs and/or video when applicable.

JazzBeautyBar will review the concern and determine whether the issue relates to workmanship, customization, normal wear, customer-provided materials, customer handling, third-party services, or a preference-based change.

Verified JazzBeautyBar workmanship errors may be corrected at no additional charge.

A verified workmanship issue does not automatically qualify an order for a refund, exchange, or full replacement when the concern can reasonably be corrected.

Requests made after the 48-hour reporting period will be reviewed individually and may be considered a maintenance, alteration, or paid adjustment service.

Workmanship Corrections

Examples of concerns that may qualify for a complimentary correction include verified issues such as:

• Improperly secured wefts
• Incorrect construction
• Incorrect parting compared with the approved specifications
• Incorrect styling compared with the approved specifications
• An error in lace customization performed by JazzBeautyBar
• Other verified workmanship errors attributable to JazzBeautyBar

The appropriate corrective service will be determined based on the individual circumstances of the order.

Wig Adjustments & Alterations

Adjustments resulting from a change in preference, customer-provided measurements, customer handling, improper installation or removal, normal wear, or damage occurring after the wig leaves JazzBeautyBar's possession are not considered workmanship corrections and may require an additional fee.

This may include recapping or resizing due to inaccurate customer-provided measurements, changing an approved style or parting, additional coloring or color changes, lace replacement, reconstruction, replacement of damaged hair, or repairs resulting from improper installation, removal, adhesive use, excessive heat, chemical processing, or improper maintenance.

JazzBeautyBar will evaluate the wig before determining the appropriate service and associated cost.

Any applicable labor, product, lace, hair, shipping, alteration, or repair fees will be communicated before additional work is performed.

Custom Wig Measurements & Fit

Custom wigs are constructed according to the measurements or cap size provided at the time of ordering.

Customers are responsible for submitting accurate measurements unless their measurements are taken directly by JazzBeautyBar.

If a wig requires recapping, resizing, reconstruction, or other alterations because incorrect measurements or an incorrect cap size were provided by the customer, the adjustment will be completed at the customer's expense.

Because individual head shapes and fit preferences vary, minor fit adjustments may occasionally be recommended even when measurements have been provided accurately.

Customer-Provided Hair & Lace

Customers may provide their own hair and/or lace for custom wig construction when the selected service permits it.

JazzBeautyBar cannot guarantee the quality, durability, longevity, shedding resistance, coloring ability, bleaching ability, or overall performance of hair or lace purchased from another vendor.

Customers requesting coloring or bleaching services on customer-provided hair acknowledge that results depend on the quality, previous processing, manufacturing, porosity, and condition of the hair or lace provided.

JazzBeautyBar will use professional techniques and reasonable care; however, JazzBeautyBar is not responsible for replacing or refunding customer-provided hair or lace that does not lift, color, process, or perform as expected because of the quality or condition of the product.

Custom Wig Coloring

Color results may vary based on the starting color, quality, porosity, previous processing, and characteristics of the hair.

Inspiration photographs are used as a reference and do not guarantee an exact color match.

Lighting, filters, photography, starting hair color, texture, and other factors may affect how a color appears.

JazzBeautyBar will make professional efforts to achieve the agreed-upon color while maintaining the integrity of the hair.

If a completed color does not align with the approved order because of a verified JazzBeautyBar error, the appropriate corrective service will be determined after review.

Changes requested because a customer later prefers a different shade, tone, placement, or overall color after the approved service has been completed are considered preference-based changes and may require an additional color service fee.

Wig Longevity & Lace Maintenance

JazzBeautyBar custom wigs are machine constructed to provide durability and long-term wear when properly maintained.

The lifespan of a custom wig varies depending on frequency of wear, installation method, heat styling, products used, maintenance, hair quality, and overall handling.

For this reason, JazzBeautyBar does not guarantee a specific number of years of wear.

Lace is delicate and naturally experiences thinning and shedding over time.

Depending on frequency of wear and maintenance, customers may consider lace replacement around approximately six months of regular use or when signs of thinning become noticeable.

Damage After Delivery

JazzBeautyBar is not responsible for damage occurring after the wig has been received that results from improper handling or services performed outside of JazzBeautyBar.

This may include improper installation or removal, cutting the lace incorrectly, excessive adhesive, improper adhesive removal, excessive heat, chemical processing by another person, alterations by another stylist or wig maker, improper washing, neglect, or inappropriate products.

Normal wear and tear, including gradual shedding or thinning of lace, is not considered a construction defect.

Repair or replacement services may be available for an additional fee.
